I wish I could recall the exact words though I was in an emotional tizzy at the moment. Essentially you shared that no one could affect the way I feel about myself. I mostly recall how validating you were for my experience and how encouraging you were for me to move beyond that moment.
During one of the most difficult times in the market and my career you were in the trenches with us helping us understand the facts and numbers. Helping us see through the panic. You taught me how to succeed in any market.

I will never forget a class you taught in which you shared about the power in how we make others feel. I shared a story about having one of my daughters on my team and I remember breaking down in front of the class. It was a challenging time in the life of our family. BUT, you made me feel like it would all be OK and by the grace of God- it is. Thank you for that “love” you showed me as I allowed myself to be brave and vulnerable.
Thanks to YOU, we live our lives with more peace and admiration for the present. “I am only attached to the best possible outcome, even though I may not know yet what that is”. THIS is spoken in our house all the time and our constant reminder that no matter what life throws at us, we will always end up on top and for the better.
